On November 8, 2021, Colliers announced it had assisted in the relocation of the Gdynia headquarters of DB Schenker to a new space in the Tensor Office Park in building X.
DB Schenker is a provider of global logistics services. Colliers’ role was to support finding a new location that would fit the client’s needs and to advise in negotiating a lease agreement.
“The strategic goal of the entire DB Schenker Group is to achieve climate neutrality by 2050,” commented DB Schenker Vice President Ocean Freight NEE Piotr Kozlowski. “By implementing our environmental policy, we implement eco-solutions that are beneficial not only for the environment but also contribute to creating the best working conditions for our employees. We minimize the impact of our operations by moving transshipment terminals outside agglomerations to modern, ‘green’ facilities compliant with BREEAM requirements. Also, when choosing office space for our units, we have specific expectations in terms of ecology, ergonomics, and comfort of use. The Tensor office park is a modern investment that meets our requirements.”
“We are very happy that we could support DB Schenker,” added Colliers Gdansk Regional Director Blazej Kucharski. “It is a customer who develops in a sustainable manner, and his strategy is based on three pillars: economy, society, and the environment. A responsible approach to business is also visible in the choice of a new seat. For the client, ergonomic working conditions and environmental aspects of the building were important. These conditions were met by Tensor Office Park, which can boast a BREEAM certificate at the Excellent level and is one of the most innovative office buildings in the Tri-City.”
