Supeco, a discount supermarket chain owned by the Carrefour Group, has signed a lease agreement and will become a tenant at the recently opened FunShop Park retail complex in Ploiesti, Romania.
Supeco has leased over 1,300 square meters of space in the facility, which has been operating since April 2025 (as reported by CEE Real Estate Matters on June 10, 2025). The supermarket, which will complement the retail offering of FunShop Park in Ploiesti, is scheduled to open to customers in the third quarter of 2025.
The FunShop Park in Ploiesti offers 10,000 square meters of space, and it includes an outdoor dining area. The retail complex hosts well-known stores such as DM, Sinsay, TEDi, KiK, ZooCenter, Pepco, Jysk, Hervis, New Yorker, CCC, Flanco, and Agroland, as well as a standalone Lidl supermarket operates.
