Logistics provider HGL Group Hungary has signed a new lease for an additional 10,000 square meters in the HelloParks Maglod megapark, bringing its total footprint from 5000 to 15,000 square meters.
The HGL Group began operations at the site last year in the MG1 warehouse at the Maglod megapark, which is located near Budapest’s Ferenc Liszt International Airport.
“HelloParks Maglód offers a modern and predictable operating environment that fully meets our fast-paced and high-volume logistics needs,” said HGL Group CEO Paul Szeman. “Based on our experience over the past year, it was clear that we wanted to further expand our capacity here.”
“HGL’s expansion is important feedback for us, as a globally active, high-volume logistics partner has decided to begin significant development in our Maglod megapark and commit to us long-term,” said Andras Bodahelyi, Senior Business Development Manager at HelloParks. “This agreement is particularly valuable in that we managed to conclude it during a period that is challenging from a market perspective.”
