Wing is reporting that a new tenant — which it identifies only as a “multinational company specializing in the distribution of health-focused dietary supplements” — has chosen to lease approximately 900 square meters of multifunctional office space in the developer’s Skylight City office building in Budapest as its first headquarters in Hungary.
The company moving in to Skylight City is already present in the Czech Republic and Poland, Wing reports, and in considering options in Budapest it “was seeking a flexible and well-located site location for its entry into the Hungarian market, and Skylight City proved to be the perfect choice.” According to Wing, “tor the new tenant, it was especially important to find a building that provides an inspiring and professional work environment for daily operations, while also being suitable for hosting events, trainings, and conferences with up to 190 participants.”
“Skylight City offers flexible, immediate exposure and office space for companies building a market presence in Hungary,” said Dr. Erno Takacs, Deputy CEO, Hotels & Commercial Properties at WING. “We are delighted that a new international tenant has chosen this building for its Hungarian launch – a location ideal for growth thanks to its multifunctional layout and excellent location.”
Skylight City is located near Arpad Bridge on Robert Karoly Boulevard in the Hungarian capital, one tram stop from the Vaci Road office corridor. The seven-story, nearly 20,000-square-meter modern office building received its BREEAM In-Use “Very Good” sustainability rating in 2023. One of the building’s most distinctive features is its oasis-like, bright interior atrium filled with greenery, which also includes a retail showroom and a hospitality unit.
The tenant was represented by Citireal throughout the transaction process.
