Investor Sebre and contractor Strabag have agreed to launch construction of the Marina Dorcol complex in Belgrade.
The first phase of the project, which involves the construction of 263 residential units, 430 parking spaces for tenants, 5000 square maters for business premises, and an additional 100 parking spaces for external visitors, is estimated to conclude in the third quarter of 2028, according to a statement issued after the contract-signing ceremony at the Czech Embassy in Belgrade, which was attended by Jan Bondi and Christian Ebner, the Czech and Austrian Ambassadors to Serbia.
“This complex is not just a new point on the map of Belgrade, but represents a vision of the future – a combination of urban life, innovative architecture and sustainable construction,” said Strabag Director Vojin Zajic. “In everything we do, we are guided by a sustainable approach, responsible use of resources in reducing the negative impact on the environment.”
“The partnership with the renowned Austrian company Strabag confirms that this vision will be translated into a construction project of the highest quality,” added Sebre Director Tomas Klima. “As a European company based in Prague, we want to bring the highest standards of green and sustainable construction that exist in the EU to Belgrade.”
“This is one of the largest investments and joint ventures of EU companies in Belgrade. We believe that this cooperation will open a new chapter in Belgrade’s urban development, which combines history and future, private space and public interest, as well as local values with European standards,” said Czech Ambassador Bondi.
In total, the project is valued at approximately EUR 390 million.
