Zabka Group SA subsidiary Zabka BS sp. z o.o. has entered into a EUR 35 million “design-and-build” agreement with a Dekpol S.A. subsidiary Dekpol Budownictwo sp. z o.o. for the construction of a 42,000-square-meter warehouse and production facility that will include freezers, cold storage, and a dry zone, as well as social and office spaces.
The design-and-build agreement also contemplates the associated internal and external infrastructure (including networks, utility connections, and roads and exits to public roads), as well as the obtaining of necessary approvals and permits.
The logistics center near Lodz is the third such implemented with the same kind of investment formula, following facilities in Malopole near Warsaw (which was commissioned in 2022) and Kąty Wroclawskie near Wroclaw (which was commissioned in early 2025).
The planned logistics centre will be the ninth facility in the Zabka Polska logistics network and will enable the servicing of stores in central Poland.
