Panattoni has announced both that it is expanding Panattoni Park Zgierz and that “a leading drugstore chain” has leased 50,000 square meters of the new space.
Following the expansion, the park, which is currently at 50,000 square meters, will reach a total size of 120,000 square meters.
“The fact that our development was chosen for one of the client’s main distribution centers confirms our expertise in delivering modern infrastructure for industry leaders,” said Katarzyna Kujawiak, Development Director at Panattoni. “This is a strategic collaboration that enables us to raise logistics standards together while contributing to the development of the entire region.”
According to a Panattoni press release, “the logistics space for the drugstore chain will be adapted to the high safety standards required for storing hazardous materials such as alcohols, deodorants, and household chemicals. The building will be equipped with advanced fire protection systems, including in-rack sprinklers and additional smoke extraction and ventilation systems.”
