Developers, engineers, designers, and new technology experts will compete in a pioneering event at the intersection of IT and the real-estate market. The Real Estate Hackathon 2025, powered by Globalworth and scheduled to take place at the Warsaw Trade Tower in Warsaw on March 29-30, is an innovation marathon that takes the concept of hackathons beyond the boundaries of the technology sector and opens a new chapter in the digitalization of office spaces.
According to Globalworth, “for 24 hours, participants will work on groundbreaking solutions that could change the way offices of the future operate. From smart lighting and space management systems, to applications optimizing interactions between employees, to innovative furniture adapting to the user – the hackathon will become a true forge of ideas that will help shape modern workplaces.”
“After a period of remote work, companies are once again focusing on offices as a key element in building organizational culture and effective collaboration,” said Rafal Pomorski, Managing Director – Finance & Operations, Globalworth Poland. “Modern spaces must meet the changing needs of employees – from comfort and ergonomics to the integration of technologies that support daily work. Globalworth, as a leader in commercial real estate in Central and Eastern Europe, wants to be part of this change, which is why we are organizing the Real Estate Hackathon 2025.”
Participants will tackle three thematic tracks: The first one focuses on solutions that foster building relationships in the office, especially in a hybrid work model. The second track concentrates on innovations that combine technology with ecology, promoting conscious management of space and resources. The third track remains open to any ideas that can transform the way modern commercial buildings operate.
“We are counting on fresh perspectives on the real estate market from people who are not typically associated with this segment,” explained Iwona Walendzik, Marketing & Communications Director, Globalworth Poland. “As a manager and owner of office buildings, we are open to ideas regarding new functions in buildings, innovative ways of using them, and services that can meet the actual needs of users. This approach combines two perspectives – those of managers and employees – which allows for the creation of even more functional and inspiring workspaces.”
According to Globalworth, “modern office buildings are, on one hand, workspaces, and on the other, intelligent systems that respond to users’ needs. Globalworth buildings are equipped with advanced technologies that monitor temperature, energy consumption, air quality, and human flow – and the hackathon is intended to be a step towards further groundbreaking solutions.”
“The office space of the future is one that learns employees’ preferences, adapts to their work style, and supports their daily efficiency,” added Iwona Walendzik. “Our event is an opportunity to showcase the most innovative ideas that can become part of this transformation.”
The Real Estate Hackathon 2025 is primarily aimed at developers, analysts, UX designers, and real-estate specialists, as well as ambitious students and individuals with interesting ideas for creating intelligent tools that can impact the real-estate market. Registration for the event is open until March 28.
