Getinge has leased over 1,900 square meters of office space on the third floor of building D of Krakow’s Enterprise Park office complex to serve as the company’s shared services center.
Getinge provides medical solutions for operating rooms, intensive-care units, and sterilization departments, as well as for biotech, pharmaceutical, and medical-research institutions.
The Krakow-based branch of the company, Getinge Shared Services, provides services including finance, accounting, customer service, controlling, and procurement, as well as training coordination for entities in the EMEA region, Turkey, the United States, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand. The Krakow center is also home to global roles responsible for managing strategically significant processes for the entire Getinge Group.
“We are very pleased that another global brand sees its future in Enterprise Park,” said Andrzej Borowka, Head of Property Management, Avestus Real Estate in Poland. “It is the trust of globally recognized companies, leaders in their industries, that is the best proof of the quality offered by our office park in Krakow. As the owner and manager of Enterprise Park, we are continuously working towards offering more and more amenities in our complex with a focus on our tenants’ expectations. I am honoured to welcome the Getinge team in Enterprise Park. I wish all of them every success. I am confident that this unique working environment in the Podgorze district in Krakow will facilitate further growth of this innovative company.”
Getinge Shared Services’ new headquarters, covering an area of 1,931 square meters, will be located on the 3rd floor of Building D in Enterprise Park. Getinge will move into Enterprise Park in March, from an unnamed Krakow office building.
“The decision to choose Enterprise Park as the new location for our Shared Services Center was based on a number of factors that directly impact the comfort of Getinge employees,” explained Agnieszka Obuchowska, Managing Director, Getinge Shared Services. “The convenient location in a well-connected part of Krakow, the highest quality of space and technological solutions, as well as the rich range of on-site services and activities dedicated to members of the Enterprise Park community, were all factors we considered. The success of our company is due to the exceptional Getinge team, which is why we wanted to provide our employees with the best possible working conditions. We are excited to join Enterprise Park and we can’t wait for the opening of our new headquarters.”
“The Enterprise Park complex has remained a consistent choice for many demanding tenants for several years, and now Getinge is joining this group,” said Maciej Dubiel, Associate Director at CBRE. “This decision was influenced by a combination of key factors, such as proximity to the city center, accessibility of transportation, available amenities, the owner’s experience and flexibility, as well as the efficiency of the space and the building, both architecturally and environmentally.”
Enterprise Park is a class-A office park consisting of six three-floor buildings in the Podgorze district of Krakow. The complex, which is surrounded by natural greenery, covers an area of over 61,878 square meters. Tenants include Aptiv, Aon, Cisco, Alight Solutions, and Estrata Poland, among others, as well as a bilingual KIDS&Co. kindergarten and nursery and Krakpress (a Kropka store), the Gorąco Polecam bakery, and the Olimp canteen.
The buildings feature a total of 1,224 parking spaces and 600 bicycle racks with changing rooms and showers. In addition, Enterprise Park has its own bike rental system available for tenants.
The architectural design of the entire Enterprise Park complex was developed by the Krakow office of Baumschlager Eberle Architekci (formerly DDJM Biuro Architektoniczne), and Eiffage Polska Budownictwo was the project’s general contractor. Since May 2015, pursuant to a joint-venture agreement, Enterprise Park has been owned by Tristan Capital Partners and Avestus Real Estate.
Getinge was represented by CBRE in the negotiation process.
