Argo S.A. has leased approximately 6400 square meters of space and Mercator Medical has expanded its space by an additional 6500 square meters at 7R Park Gdansk IV.
Argo is a seller of office equipment and materials for binding and shredding documents, and Mercator Medical is a manufacturer of gloves and distributor of disposable medical supplies.
Argo’s space will be used, among other things, for warehousing purposes. “We decided to relocate to a warehouse in the 7R Park Gdansk IV distribution center to increase storage space and optimize logistics processes and costs,” said Radoslaw Szwabe, Logistics Director at Argo, “particularly in the areas of product packaging and equipment servicing, for which specially dedicated zones have been tailored. We believe that the modern space, built and operated using environmentally friendly technology, will help reduce operating costs, improve customer service quality, and enhance the comfort of our team. The decision to relocate to the new distribution center aligns with our organization’s mission and is a milestone in its further development.”
“This is the second time Argo has chosen 7R,” said 7R Leasing Director Marzene Taube. “Our first agreement was signed in 2017. The long-term cooperation is proof of trust, but also of the effectiveness of our solutions, which meet market needs and contribute to the success of our clients. We are pleased to support Argo in its new projects.”
Meanwhile, Mercator Medical’s new distribution center will cover over 19,500 square meters. The company will commence operations at the new location in the second quarter of 2025. Andrzej Michalak, Logistics Director at Mercator Medical, noted that the new warehouse supports the company’s environmental approach. “We aim to optimize distribution processes,” he said, “which will improve operational efficiency and reduce costs.”
7R Park Gdansk IV is located in Barniewice, about 4 kilometers from Gdansk Airport. According to 7R, the park, which covers an area of 42,000 square meters, “has been designed according to the highest standards and sustainability criteria, benefiting both the natural environment and tenants. Implemented solutions, including photovoltaic panels, a DALI lighting control system, and the thoughtful use of natural light in unloading areas, generate measurable energy cost savings.”
“Expanding cooperation with tenants and attracting new companies that want to develop their business in 7R parks are always rewarding experiences,” said Magdalena Kostjan, Head of Leasing at 7R. “Our expert teams strive to thoroughly understand clients’ needs and propose warehouse solutions that best meet them. This is the case with Argo, whom we warmly welcome among our tenants, as well as with Mercator Medical, to whom we thank for their trust for the second time.”
Argo was advised by Newmark Polska on negotiations regarding the lease, and Mercator Medical Group was represented by the Axi Immo agency.
