The lease with HB Reavis, owner and manager of the Varso Place complex, was signed at the beginning of 2024, and the move was completed in the first days of January 2025.

“Warsaw is constantly changing, developing and modernizing. We think similarly about Baker McKenzie. Our firm has been operating in Poland for over 30 years. During this time, we have changed office locations several times. Each move marked a new stage in our operations, the need for more space, and emphasising our successes with a prestigious location. At the beginning of January, we have commenced another chapter in the history of our firm, in the European Union’s tallest office building,” says Weronika Achramowicz, Managing Partner of Baker McKenzie in Poland. “Our office has been designed with the needs of various user groups in mind: clients, lawyers, and business-support teams. The building’s infrastructure, modern technological solutions, and Varso Tower’s Green building certifications set new standards in the office real estate market in this part of Europe.”

Varso Tower is part of the Varso Place complex on Chmielna street in Warsaw. Designed by the Foster + Partners architectural studio, Varso Tower meets the highest environmental standards and received one of the first WELL pre-certifications in Poland. The total of 70,000 square meters of office space in Varso Tower is almost fully leased.

“Choosing a workplace for our team is a key decision that affects daily efficiency, satisfaction, and professional development,” emphasized Baker McKenzie Partner Marcin Iwaniszyn. “We appreciate the care with which the designers and contractors of our office project approached issues of ecology and the comfort of our people who are present on a daily basis. We are providing the Baker McKenzie team with contemporary interiors that positively impact well-being and work efficiency in the demanding legal services market. The new environment will allow us to strengthen our position among the largest and most prestigious law firms in Poland and become a platform for further successes, of which our employees and cooperating partners will be proud.”

“Supporting the well-being and productivity of users is our most important goal,” said Natalia Kasperska, Senior Leasing Manager at HB Reavis Investments Poland. “Varso Tower has succeeded not only as an exceptional piece of architecture, but also as an outstanding office space designed with care for the people working in it. This is precisely why the project has been so well-received.”

In finalizing the lease, Baker McKenzie was supported by experts from Colliers, and the office design project was prepared by the BIT Creative architectural studio.

“It is an honor and pleasure to support companies that are aware of the needs of their clients and employees,” said Katarzyna Tasarek-Skrok, Director, Office Space Department at Colliers. “When choosing an office, Baker McKenzie was looking for a space that would become an efficient and comfortable work and meeting environment, as well as an inspiring place that impresses with its architecture and character.”
“The inspiration for the interior design project was the harmonious combination of minimalist Japanese aesthetics with New York chic,” added BIT Creative founder Barnaba Grzelecki. “The goal was to create an elegant and timeless office using natural materials such as stone, wood and wallpapers made from raw materials. The space is enriched with works of art by Polish artists, which, combined with subtle wall and ceiling details, create a coherent and minimalist whole. The entire project combines functionality with aesthetics, providing an inspiring space for work and relaxation.”
