Panattoni is to build a new 28,000-square-meter industrial park in the Mazovia region of Poland. The development of Panattoni Park Sochaczew will commence in the first quarter of 2025 with the first tenant – automotive-glass manufacturer Pilkington Automotive Poland – scheduled to move in by November of that year.
“Sochaczew stands out as a pivotal logistics location in Mazovia, providing excellent connections to the extensive Warsaw market and other regions across Poland,” said Michal Samborski, Head of Development at Panattoni. “Here, we will create modern facilities that support the growth of our clients’ businesses and meet the highest standards of sustainable construction.”
Pilkington Automotive Poland is expected to employ around 100 people in the new center.
“We are impressed by the professionalism of the Panattoni team,” sais Janusz Kobus, Vice President of Pilkington Automotive Poland, “their organizational efficiency throughout the negotiations and their ability to reschedule a project to meet the need of our business to relocate the distribution center that services the logistics for Poland [and] Central and Eastern Europe as well as exports to Africa.”
Panattoni expects Park Sochaczew to obtain a BREEAM “Excellent” certification. According to Panattoni, “the industrial park will come equipped with numerous energy saving solutions including LED lighting, skylights for natural interior lighting, a modern fire safety system, technology to minimize water consumption, and a large maneuvering area with parking for both cars and trucks.”
