Panattoni and E.G.O., a Polish supplier of components for domestic appliance manufacturers, are celebrating the construction of a new production facility in Lodz which is valued at over PLN 100 million.
The 15,000-square-meter facility is being built near the Lodz city center, just 8 kilometers from downtown and 4 kilometers from the A1 motorway. Construction has been underway since July and is scheduled for completion near the end of next year.
“Today’s groundbreaking marks the beginning of a new chapter in the history of the E.G.O.-Group here in Lodz,” said E.G.O. CEO Karlheinz Horsting at the November 27 cornerstone-laying ceremony. “The building is a sign of our commitment to the Lodz location – a signal to dare to do new things.”
“The building is being developed as a build-to-own facility, which is always a tremendous vote of confidence in the developer,” explained Panattoni Partner Marek Dobrzycki. “We are delighted that E.G.O. has entrusted us with the execution of such an important project. By delivering ambitious projects for market leaders, we contribute to the growth of the entire region.”
“We provided a property in an excellent location—close to the company’s previous headquarters and strategic business partners,” said Panattoni Development Director Katarzyna Kujawiak. “The production facility has been designed in close collaboration with the client’s team to perfectly meet their technological requirements and support the company’s continued growth.”
