On November 2, 2021, Penta Real Estate together with partners from Kaprain Group and Sekyra Group, purchased a plot from the University of Chemistry and Technology in Prague (VSCHT) in the Western part of Vitezne Square in Prague 6.
The land plot was just over 20,000 square meters and the sale amounted to EUR 39 million (CZK 1 billion). The developers anticipate implementation by 2028 and wish to build a mixed-use project with offices taking up the majority of space, in addition to retail areas and apartments.
According to the company, once the construction in Vitezne square is finalized, the urban concept of the new solution for the North-West city designed by Antonin Engel in the 1920s would be fulfilled.
“This is definitely one of the most interesting spots in Prague, and we would like to organize an international competition with regards to this multifunctional development concept, with abundance of greenery and communal space. Prague itself is an attractive location for architects, and with the completion of the construction in Vitezne square we can expect first class results,” commented Pavel Streblov, Penta commercial business director.
